Espaço de Criação, Pesquisa e Formação


FOAMS é um espaço de residência artística e ecopedagógica dedicada à criação, pesquisa e formação. Idealizada a partir de extensa pesquisa de seus fundadores e colaboradores. Expandida pelas investigações e experiências de cada um, a casa se afirma como um espaço coletivo, onde diferentes trajetórias e visões se encontram para projetar futuros transformativos.

Diante do horizonte do “pós”, somos bolhas de espuma, parte de outras existências agitadas.

Instalada em um hectare com eco-floresta produtiva, alojamento para até 15 pessoas e um estúdio galpão de 200m². FOAMS acolhe residências artísticas, práticas pedagógicas experimentais, experiências regenerativas e projetos de produção artística.

Suas ações integram cuidado somático, pensamento decolonial e diálogo entre memória, território e arte, envolvendo jovens artistas, comunidades locais e redes internacionais como plattformPLUS (Alemanha), veiculoSUR (América Latina), DAS Choreography (Holanda), entre outras residências e institutos.

Mais do que um espaço de produção, FOAMS oferece tempo e lugar para pausas, desmontes e recomposições. Aqui, artistas que operam nas margens, entre escassez e invenção, são convidada*e*os a criar sem a pressão do produto final — permitindo que silêncio, ruído, improviso e erro também se tornem linguagem.

O que emerge pode ser projeto, ideia, experiência, ou simplesmente a clareza de um retornar transformado.

Além da reconstrução pós-tsunami, trabalhamos no pré-tsunami. Toda sobra é um comprimido de memórias. A memória alerta e sinaliza o que está por vir.

Itacaré, no litoral sul da Bahia, tem uma rica história ligada ao período colonial. O nome, de origem tupi-guarani, significa “pedra bonita” ou “lugar de pedras”, refletindo sua geografia costeira. Com cerca de 30 mil habitantes, Itacaré é hoje um dos principais destinos ecoturísticos da Bahia, conhecido por suas trilhas na Mata Atlântica e cachoeiras deslumbrantes.

A cultura local é fortemente influenciada por tradições afro-brasileiras, visíveis nas festas, capoeira e culinária, que mistura ingredientes regionais e influências africanas. Além de relaxamento, Itacaré oferece uma imersão na história e cultura baiana, provendo paisagens incríveis.
